The St. Simon’s Syriac Orthodox Church in Edmonton, a Jacobite Church, mainly consists of the members from South India (Kerala) who speak the Malayalam language. The Church is registered not for profit charitable organization established under the Societies act of Alberta, Canada. Primarily serving the people of Edmonton and Alberta, Canada.

The faith of the Syriac Orthodox Church is in accordance with the Nicene Creed. It believes in the Trinity, that is one God, subsisting in three separate persons called the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The three being of one Essence, of one Godhead, have one Will, one Work and one Lordship.
